ABOUT US

We build the persistence layer for digital personas.

Craine Interactive is a venture studio. That means we don't do one thing — we run parallel research bets against a single thesis, and everything we learn in one feeds the others.

The thesis is straightforward. AI-assisted coding collapsed the cost of building software, which changed what's worth attempting. But the way people interact with AI hasn't caught up. The most natural interface humans have ever had is a face. Not a menu, not a prompt box — a face, with a name, that remembers you.

The physical manifestation of this is a robot. The avatar gets there first, and goes where robots cannot.

An avatar alone is a costume. What makes it matter is persistence: a character that accumulates memory, holds a personality, and stays in canon over years. That's the difference between a cool tool and a real personal assistant- the engineering isn't just about remembering. It's more about not drifting out of character.

“That's our moat, and it's what everything else at Craine is in service of.” - Jay Clark

The Research

Six areas, three tiers. Capability research in AI-assisted coding and agentic AI makes us fast. Avatar development and digital personas are the platform we own. Film, content, and games are where we prove it and where the personas live.
